Green Inspiration for 2022
Since the major paint companies have announced various shades of green as their color of the year for 2022, I thought it would be fun to dig through some recent shoots to find examples of the color green and how it was used.
KITCHENS
This kitchen is a beautiful blend of color and calm. Lots of creams and white balance the green cabinets and bold artwork.

POWDER ROOMS
And check out these powder rooms! Both are located in separate homes in Washington DC but each use wallpaper and the color green to make a bold statement.
Light green grasscloth wallpaper provides beautiful texture in this powder room. The brass fixtures also elevate what could be a rather boring space.

DINING ROOMs
This is another beautiful example of green wallpaper but this time it’s used in the dining room with lots of textures. Green plants are the perfect accessory for this lush space.

Don’t forget plain old paint! Below is an example of how transformative a bright green is in this boy’s bedroom. What a happy statement it makes with the red ladder that leads to a secret hideout space for building legos!
