Designers Need Professional Images

Professional imagery is an important tool for designers.

Quality, professional images on your website and social media outlets is so important for gaining new clients. It is also a necessary step for getting your work in magazine publications, both online and in print. But what is it like to work with a professional photographer?

What is it like to work with me?

If we haven’t worked together before I like to start with a phone call. It’s a great way to get to know each other and discuss what you want to accomplish with your photographs and how I can meet those needs. This helps me determine the scope and timeline of the photoshoot. With this information I will email you a quote with a specific date, timeline and number of deliverable images.

If you are happy with the quote, the email has an attached contract to sign and a link to securely pay your deposit. Once the contract is signed and the deposit paid, you are booked and that date is secured for your photoshoot!

The Photoshoot

On the day of the photoshoot I will arrive with my gear and do a walkthrough the property with you. The purpose of the walkthrough is to understand the elements of the project that are most important to you — what elements you definitely want to capture.

After our walkthrough, I will set up my camera and lights as well as tether to my iPad or laptop. This is a crucial step. What the camera ‘sees’ is very different than what you see when you are standing in a room. Visualizing the photograph on a large screen really allows us to fine tune the details.

When the shoot day is over, I will edit and display the images in a gallery within two weeks. Once the balance of the photoshoot has been paid, I will deliver the images to you!

Why I love my work

I love my job. I love meeting new people and also the relationship that grows after multiple shoots together. I love creating photographs that really capture the vision and design aesthetic of the designer. I encourage you to contact me today to explore how we can work together!
